Arts Society Heritage Volunteers help to conserve our arts heritage both in Britain and in parts of Europe. We at The Arts Society South Cambs do not currently have an active Heritage Volunteers group, but if you would like to help us revive this, please in the first instance contact our Chair, Clem Messenger, on 07840 282127.

Our last Heritage Volunteering project, which concluded in 2019, helped the Museum of Cambridge to catalogue and archive their many artefacts. The project:

• Undertook a thorough inventory of the Museum's stores
• Recorded information about all objects
• Photographed each object
• Repackaged as necessary
• Updated computer records with the latest and most accurate information, including photographs.
